I always want to try pepper lunch since its opening but I really hate long lines.... Chance- It was almost 4 PM on a Sunday and we haven’t had our lunch, a little tired from shopping with Tere and Roly; and we were really hungry! Off we went to Rockwell to have our Pepper lunch.
Pepper lunch is a do it yourself steakhouse chain. First off we have to line up (good thing it was 4PM), order and pay in the counter like any other fast food chain, and then wait a few minutes for our orders...
Roly and I ordered their best seller, the beef pepper rice meal while Tere ordered for chicken pepper rice without the pepper - both for P235 (comes with choice of soda/juice), P198 if no drink. After a few minutes, a sizzling iron plates were delivered to us by their friendly staff, she told us some instructions on how to cook, pointing to their secret ingredients for more flavorful meal- honey brown sauce & garlic soy sauce.
The beef pepper steak came with thinly sliced raw beef, rice, corn, onion leaves, peppered butter and sprinkled roasted black pepper. It also came with an easy paper instruction wrapped around the sizzling plate. Well the secret is simple, mix and mix - like what was written in the instruction “The more you mix them up, the more delicious "Pepper Rice" you get!!! Why? You will see it!” And so we witnessed it - our mishmash were TASTYriffic.
Overall, we enjoyed our late lunch in pepper lunch then continued with more shopping smelling like peppers rice - yeah the whiff sticks ;-)
That's All!

yay pepper lunch. i want to try it really soon. pero bat ka nagtipid? kaya best seller ang beef pepper rice kasi sya yung pinakamura.
you should've tried the salmon or the pork and chicken combo or better yet their super tender and juicy shimofuri steak.
actually I was torn between ordering yung pepper steak and shimofuri steak and burger steak din tapos tinanong ko yung babae yung counter kung ano yung masusuggest nya... tas yan yung suggestion nya ;) anyway next time ulit ;) actually di pa nya time mapost ngayon tas naisip kita ...haha!
hahaha sa sweldo talaga kakain ako. wag lang sanang abutan ng mahabang linya.
o kakasweldo lang ah... heheh! Try going there after lunch like us =)
Wow, sounds delish! You sure love your food. Hey, would you know how this is different from it's copy-cat "The Sizzling Pepper Steak" at Trinoma?
Philos- it is delish. Well as far as I can remember I was disappointed by sizzling pepper steak in Trinoma, the meat is so bland even if you put sauce on it or might be the sauce itself....
Hi Aline! Thanks for dropping by my blog :)
Your food pix make me hungry! I love steak, my fav is Jack Daniels beef steak at TGIF.
