We stop over Tagaytay's Manos Greek Taverna for lunch one summer weekend... The taverna can be found along roadside of Tagaytay but without the famous taal view; it is simple and unpretentious with blue and white colors (from walls to interiors) which gave us an authentic GREEKy feel. It is not air-conditioned where one can savor the hotness or coldness of natural Tagaytay breeze.
Here's our picture with the owner Manos (in the middle), who is readily entertaining/talking to customers...
For food...
Tzatziki dip.P90 - Is served with bread basket and a dip which compose of yogurt, garlic and olive oil.
Gyros- souvlaki shawarma.P90 - Just like ordinary beef shawarma with potatoes tomato and onion Cabbage rolls - Rice and minced meat wrapped around a cabbage; it taste like our very own bulalo dish over rice.
Grilled Lamb - served with rice, fries and mixed veggies. Unfortunately the meat was not so tender and I found the cut so thin...
While dining here, I can't help but to compare it to Cyma which I like better, Our overall dining experience was ok plus the fact that we only paid est. P200/pax.
That's All!
