Sentro 1771 was one of the first restaurant that opened in Greenbelt 3... From then on, the resto marked its name on me or perhaps it was because of their house specialty siningang na cornbeef ... I actually found my self craving for its savory and sour taste from time to time.
Sinigang na cornbeef
Sinigang is a philippine dish and is distinctive for its sour taste. It is a comfort food for some. As for Sentro, It is cooked with tamarind broth which gives its soury taste and you guessed it right... cornbeef and veggies; for me: one of the best tasting sinigang in Manila, or maybe it was just cooked the way I like. Price P340.

Anyway Sentro 1771 is modern Filipino restaurant; It is a good reunion/date place, clean and relaxing athmosphere, service is great. The food is awesome and is good for sharing, they also offer bottomless sago't gulaman(Filipino native drink). Well, I highly recommend that you bring your tourist friends here for a taste of good to great pinoy cuisine.
Ohhhh by the way, Sentro sinigang na cornbeef is free when you buy 2 or more tickets in Greenbelt cinemas... not sure when the promo will end though.
That's all!

Ruy - The free sinigang served as it is when you order it... Game! Dine and watch :)
I like the sinigang na corned beef, garlicky adobo, & sago't gulaman! btw, the coffee pie is a must try too.
Yes i go there almost every week. Never bothered to blog about it though. Loved the Martin's Mussels although they discontinued it at the Serendra branch. Also i find that the servings in Greenbelt are hmm. Heartier?
