On credit card fraud...

I've been a good credit card payer… Since I've been swiping a lot lately, I've built a habit of checking my outstanding balance over the net. Except for last few weeks when I’ve been avoiding online world and spending QT with P… To cut the story short, I chance upon my online banking and was startled, that someone used my card to purchase an item in Amazon… Gosh! It was so grating! I reported the incident to my bank and they immediately blocked it. Filing a dispute is such a hassle... And the disappointing part was; last month I tried to purchase a product online using the same credit card and it won’t let me because I needed to be enrolled in a secure pay…. This is not good! It is mind boggling how easy for someone to fraudulently use your credit card.

“Di bale mamamatay ka rin! G@%$!”

That's All!

Very sorry to hear that someone fraudulently used your cc to purchase some stuff online. I hope that you've closed such credit card account by this time. Making your card invalid or inactive is the surest way to prevent that individual from using it again.

I hope you get to resolve this matter soon and to your satisfaction. Take care.

Welcome to my world... Hays. Ang hassle di ba?!? Buti you found out right away. Extra hassle pag matagal bago ma-file.. they'll (CC Call Centers) treat you like ikaw yung may gawa nung mga transactions na nirereklamo mo. Tsktsktsk.

bad trip naman yan.. i'm not sure if paypal is more secure but i set up a paypal account for online purchases so i don't need to give my credit card info every time i purchase something over the internet.

@Panaderos- Thanks. The card is closed right now, they'll replace it with a new one.

yikes...i always do online shopping and thankfully i have not experienced this. i know it's such a hassle my cousin experienced this and had to settle everything first at the bank before they could reverse it after further investigation. the good thing is, she was able to find out who used her credit card.

Hi Aline!

I used to work sa isang credit card company. And if you'll dispute a transaction, naku po, goodluck.
