Spa Spa Spa

WOOOHOOO! Finally, my ER (enhancement request) regarding SPA-GL has come to an end. Since I've mentioned SPA, and since I love it (not work-related spa) so much... I want to share some of my experiences or at least describe the SPA places I've been around Metro:

Wensha ,Timog - Only SPA place I know that operate 24 hours a day. For P480 you'll get a body massage or Foot SPA/Reflex, wet floor usage (Hot and cold Jacuzzi, Steam bath and sauna, shower) , food (Shabu-Shabu right now) and unlimited drinks. You can dine wearing your kimono-robe(the one they provide after shower). You can walk naked sa wet floor(hiwalay naman yung babae sa lalake pero nakakahiya pa rin)

Urban SPA, Timog -Price is around 400 to 450; Place is a bit small. private shower room , Steam bath and Jacuzzi. Ahmmm meron lang akong 1 person na gusto ko magmasahe sa akin, I always ask for senior masseuse pero sometime sayang yung money kasi parang baby yung minamasahe.

G-SPA,Q.C : Ambiance is Superb, May pool and Jacuzzi; Masahista is not so good , considering senior na yung kinuha ko( yun din comment ng friends ko)

The SPA, Greenbelt: Ambiance is relaxing, medyo pricey lang walang jacuzzi, meron lang Private shower and sauna. Massage is good

Fitness first,R.S.bldg-Makati: Free shower , may steam bath and sauna(pero kasama my yung mga nag work-out). I like their sports massage pero medyo magaan ang kamay nung nagmamasahe... ang liit ng room and walang ambiance, not worth the price.

Fitness first plus,RCBC Plaza - Massage is good, room is ok, yun lang medyo mahal . Ok din yung healing stone nila

Kenko,Roxas blvd.- Most of their clients are korean and Japanese, parang wensha din ang setup pero so-so lang yung massage

Holiday SPA,P.Tuazon- Ang liwanag ng massage room, nakakaconcious. May Sauna and Jacuzzi din (pero you need to bring undies or swim wear).

Holiday SPA,R.P- Manila -Shower then massage na agad (di pa masyadong ok).

Hi-Life SPA, Banaue- yes they have wet floor area(shower and sauna) kaso pagkatapos mu mag pamasahe bawal ka na mag stay or matulog sandali, Massage is ok lang.

Excelsior, Del monte Branch- they offer body massage for a low cost, I used to like this place not until I saw cockroaches(take note with S) in their shower curtain.... Grabe, nung minamasage ako, na imagine ko na papasok bigla yung ipis sa hole nung bed- yikeesss! di na ako bumalik.

Note: This is my POV. I want HARD massage and mahirap ako i-please pagdating sa massage kaya siguro so-so lang yung iba.

Good day every one! Publish Post

The prayer that I forgot

At last, I finally found time to read a book. I am currently reading "Like the flowing river" by Paulo Coelho, Its not really a book but a collection of Coelho's reflection and stories. A part of those is the prayer that I forgot... I'm sharing it with you guys:

Here is the prayer:

Lord, protect our doubts, because Doubt is a way of praying. It is doubt that makes us grow as it forces us to look fearlessly at the many answers that exist to one question.. And in order for this to be possible….

Lord, protect our decisions, because making Decisions is a way of praying. Give us the courage, after our doubts, to be able to choose between one road and the another. May our YES always be a YES and NO always be a NO. Once we have chosen our road, may we never look back nor allow our soul to be eaten away by remorse. And in order for this to be possible….

Lord, protect our actions, because Action is a way of praying. May our daily bread be result of the very best that we carry within us. May we, through work and Action, share the love we receive. And in order for this to be possible….

Lord, protect our dreams, because to Dream is a way of praying. Make sure that, regardless of our age or our circumstances, we are capable of keeping alight in our heart the sacred flame of hope and perseverance. And in order for this to be possible….

Lord, give us enthusiasm, because Enthusiasm is a way of praying. It is what binds us to the Heavens and to Earth, to grown- ups, and to children; it is what tells us that our desires are important and deserve our best efforts, It is Enthusiasm that reaffirms to us that everything is possible, as long as we are totally committed to what we are doing. And in order for this to be possible….

Lord, protect us, because life is the only way we have of making manifest Your miracle. May the earth continue to transform seeds into wheat and we continue to transmute wheat into bread. And this is only possible if we have love; therefore, do not leave us in solitude. Always give us Your Company, and the company of men and women who have doubts, who act and dream and feel enthusiasm, and who live each day as if it were totally dedicated to Your Glory. Amen.

Golden Sunset

Sunset changes the sky into golden hues as the sun descends across the horizon - these words were part of our company's summer fun day invites.

As part of Safeway’s yearly summer event our outing this year was held yesterday (03/26/2007) at golden sunset in Brgy. Uno, Calatagan Batangas. Golden sunset is a resort owned by Ricky Reyes and is great way and according to their site is a world-class beach resort just two-and-a-half-hour drive south of Metro Manila. Located in the historic town of Calatagan, Batangas, it is fast becoming the destination for vacationers and beachgoers alike.

Our trip from Makati to the resort was quite long and tiring, but it all paid off at Golden sunset, the place is huge and nice, it offers a great resort and beach view. They have large salt water pools, jacuzzi (which open only to stay-in guest,), serendipity SPA (which I am very thankful because the 500 bucks I paid for the massage includes free use of shower room, and the massage is not bad after all …did I mention about the shower room?), butterfly sanctuary (which according to Christie, she only saw 1 butterfly.), there are fishing and boating areas, cottages and rooms looks good, food was ok (like last year, I don't get a chance to eat their AM snack, because they serve spaghetti and I don't eat spag), there is a good view of the beach but I think you have to be a swimmer before you can literally get down there.

Personally, I am very disappointed on their public shower area because there's no dressing room, no proper lighting, no place to hang your bags or clothes and no enough water. AND the restrooms were EWWW.. Dirty and no water.

Ah yes, our outing was enjoyable and fun. Too bad we haven’t seen the real golden sunset before taking off…

I'll be posting more picture in my multiply soon.

Associates trip in Hong Kong

It is not my 1st time in Hong Kong, but the city always amazes me. It is indeed a shopping paradise. We stayed in Marco Polo gateway hotel which conveniently located in Tsim Tsa Tsui's canton road, it is near city's ferry port and is adjacent to harbor city -HK's largest shopping mall where you can find branded shop such as Gucci, LV, Emporio Armani, D&G and etc).

1st day was spent shopping and eating ... ohhh we also went to The peak to see HK skyline and had our dinner there(Bubba gump). We went back to hotel friggin tired.

2nd day was spent travelling from HK to Macau and vice versa (1 hour travel time) via first ferry. Spent the whole afternoon playing baccarat in Wynn Macau. We went back to HK, all happy happy since we earn some bucks to spend for tomorrow.

3rd day was spent packing things since we need to check out at 1pm, left our baggage in hotels storage room and yes moreR shopping after... Left hotel proper at 6am to airport. We went there with just two luggage and back here with four bloated luggage and 2 hand carries.

All in all my trip with kwekwe and mic in Hong kong was short, fun and splendid. It was tiring leg breaking and relaxing at the same time. Ohhhh not to mention the great service we got from PAL's business class, no more line, comfortable seats, delicious food and VIP treatment and etc. and etc.

I'll be updating this entry with some pix next time. And and I have some funny and weird experiences there, I might I'll post it differently ;-)
