CYMA ESTATORIO

OPA! CYMA caters the delicious cuisine of Greece. In Greek the word cyma means "to flourish"...hmmm it is flourishing indeed. Yeah it has been around... personally, I crave their food from time to time.

Oooh, I'm sorry I don't have not taken all the food pix, we are sorta hungry when we dine. But here are some of their yummy treat.

It helps

When times of trouble...
When the universe seems to be so jaded...
When everything is seemingly deviant...

This really helps...

I just wish I could do it right now =(

Fish out of water: Greenbelt 5

I’ve been wanting to dine in at GB5's fish out of water since its opening, finally...

As the name goes, Fish out of water offers aquarium/submarine type of ambiance with an al fresco extension that has the wonderful view of church and GB3 and GB5’s landscape sceneries. The interior is designed to catch interest, is creative and relaxing. It is indeed a nice place to mingle with friends or family.

One of the reasons why I come back to a restaurant is the service and their service so far is good and efficient.

Of course the food; They carries extensive choices of Filipino cuisines with inventive twist which I found very interesting. Each servings is big enough for sharing.

For our orders:

Kuhol and Hibi Chowder. P139
Anyway to those of you who don't know, kuhol is snail and hibi is dried baby shrimp.
This soup is really really really good and filling....mmmm yummy! I think I can consume 3 orders of this... lolz!

Smoked fish Pizza.P249
This pizza is remarkable and is sooo tasty, I am recommending this pizza to people who will dine here...as in. :)

Grilled Sarangani Bay Milkfish Belly. P299.00
This isn't my order but of course I've tasted a little. It taste good, fish is not fishy I mean not foul in taste( shhss how do I translate malansa in english?).

Batangas Backyard Chicken. P299
Not my order either, but since I took the 1st bite of the chicken and I found it very stale.
... The waiter agreed to replace it with a new one but according to him the chef the replacement will be stale as well so he suggests that we order a different entree. hmmm honest chef is a ++.

Would definitely come back for more...

Holy week was spent in La union with Family; been eating a lot; beaching of course, also tried golf and surfing.

Ah, how can I forgot workey- it’s been really busy.

Right now, I’m cleaning up clutters in my life…

Zuni Restaurant and Wine Bar : Greenbelt 5

Zuni features creative continental and Mediterranean dishes that cater cosmopolitan consumers on lifestyle center. They offers extensive menu of food and wine that will surely seduces your taste bud.

It is a nice place to mingle and to just chill; Guests has the option of dining inside or al fresco... We chose alfresco where the sight of GB5's beautiful landscape is right in front of us. The ambiance is definitely a WOW- stylish, comfy and friendly.

A free hot/freshly bread basket with butter will be served while waiting for food...For appetizer- Classic carpaccio is dish of raw beef traditionally thinly sliced or pounded thin served as an appetizer. I was really craving for beef carpaccio for quite sometime .. it was fully satisfied.

Beef Carpaccio -P345

I'm not sure if I'm bias with soups but their French onion soup was yummy, the cheese was baked just right; it is comparable that of TGIF's.

You will simply go gaga over this dish; amazingly delicious,I almost forgot my name when I tasted it ;)

Ice vodka bar

After a round of smirnoff ice in Greenbelt's Ice vodka bar...
We ended up having photobooth session before going to bed... haha!

Supposedly, this is not a review but anywoozZzzzzzzzZ >>
Ice vodka bar boasts of the best line up of standard and premium vodkas in the Philippines. Is a recommended hang-out place especially when you want to unwind with R&B/dance kind of music in a casual but artsy ambiance...

La Grotta Cucina Italiana

I've been hearing a lot of raves about a place called la grotta. Finally! After our SPA session, we were able to try the "secret place".
The place is cozy, quiet and hearty Italian restaurant. It has a pretty extensive menu; waiter is knowledgeable... Indeed it is a very good place to build a little relationship and is a great date place

For starters: A free bread basket to dip in balsamic vinegar with olive oil and parmesan cheese. They also served it with liver spread and butter.

I'm actually in like with their minestra di spinachi zuppe. P190.
Imagine two of my favorite ingredients mushroom and spinach... yum yum. Writing now make me crave. Magnifico! oh, it can be shared.

Since this is Italian restaurant ordering a pizza is necessary (well for me).
Quattro Sapori pizza. P360. This is their version of four-cheese pizza, it is baked without tomatoes. Like other italian pizza it has a crunchy and chewy texture and of course the flavorful cheese ;-) .

Tagliatelle Terra Di Mare Al Pesto.P315.
Flat green pasta mixed w/ seafood, mushroom and pesto in white wine sauce.
Pesto lover will definitely love this.

Of course, we are satisfied with everything, from food to ambiance and it's service. As a result, Tere and I left happy happy with very heavy tummies plus some take out. BURP. Thanks Tere & again congrats to you and Aubrey.
